

She was born April 20, 1920, in Douglass, Texas, as the sixth of eight children of Paul and Laura Stinson Goodman. Florence was married to Deward Bolton from 1945 until his death in 1978.
Mrs. Bolton is survived by her daughter, Sandra Elaine Walston and her husband James; step-son, D.A. Bolton and his wife Darlene; two grandchildren, James Edward Walston and Sheila Elaine Yezak; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Courtney Lynette Walston, Colby James Walston, and Trevor James Yezak; and numerous nieces and nephews.
All of her brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
During World War II, she worked at Hughes Tool Company in Houston making struts for the war planes. Mrs. Bolton later worked at Curtis 1000, Inc. for 31 years as a printing press operator.
Services are set for 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016, at Cason Monk-Metcalf’s Sunset Chapel with Pastor Brad Minett officiating. Interment will follow at Eden Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Friday at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
