Funeral services for Gladys Nell Fogle will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 10, 2010, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Bro. Todd Muckleroy officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Nacogdoches, Texas. Gladys passed away in Nacogdoches on September 7, 2010.
Gladys Nell Fogle was born January 25, 1927, in Gladstell, Texas, to O.D. and Mattie Bittick. She was married to Tommie L. Fogle, June 27, 1942, and he precedes her in death.
Survivors include a sister, Eddie Ray Moore of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Patricia Dipprey of Angel Fire, New Mexico, and Vickie Randall of Nacogdoches; 5 grandchildren, Dianne Marts of Willis, Susie Dennis of New Braunfels, Stefanie Shoemaker of Nacogdoches, Jim Wallace of Wills Point, and Tim Wallace of Argyle. Mrs. Fogle had 11 great-grandchildren and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Post #3893 of the V.F.W.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Shoemaker, Steve Marts, Randy Dennis, Tim Wallace, Jim Wallace and James Cartwright.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 9, 2010, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cason Monk- Metcalf Funeral Home.
