Janice Marie Lane

Mrs. Lane was born August 6, 1953, in Nacogdoches, Texas. A longtime resident of Nacogdoches, Texas, Janice had also lived in the Mount Enterprise, Texas, area. She had retired after working a number of years at area hospitals and nursing homes.

Her survivors include her son, Joseph Daniel Lane of Nacogdoches, Texas; granddaughter, Shaina Liane Lane of Henderson, Texas; great-granddaughters, Marley Anderson and Madilyn Anderson, both of Henderson, Texas; sisters, Helyn Rodrigues of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Linda Kay Rodrigues of Longview, Texas; nieces, Shannon Johnson and husband Bryan of Rusk, Texas, Kassidy Crews and husband Ryan of Rusk, Texas, and Kalli-jo Stanley of Rusk, Texas; and nephews, Kane McCarty of Mount Enterprise, Texas, and Kody Stanley of Rusk, Texas.

She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Lane; mother, Eula Ray Sanders Rodrigues; father, Mervel "Rod" Rodrigues; and a sister, Glynda Ray McCarty.

Services are set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015, at Cason Monk-Metcalf's Sunset Chapel. Interment will follow at Isabell Chapel Cemetery near Mount Enterprise, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
