

A native of Nacogdoches, Texas, Jonathan graduated from Malcolm Rector High School. He worked at Auto Zone, and he was attending South Texas Vocational Technical Institute in San Antonio to become a mechanic. He ran his own car group in Nacogdoches called "Maro Maniacs". The car group opened him up to car communities all over the country. When he moved to San Antonio, they made him VP over the state of Texas.
Jonathan could not go anywhere without making friends. He was always happy and excited about life.
Mr. Torres was preceded in death by his father, Raul Torres. He is survived by his grandmother, Olivia Torres, who raised him. He is also survived by his wife, Mary Kaitlyn Mlcak; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2023, at Cason Monk-Metcalf. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lionso Torres, Juan Torres, Rene Amaya, Lionso Torres Jr., Eder Torres, George Lopez, Oscar Naranjo, and Nathan Collazo.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, Nacogdoches.
