June moved to Nacogdoches, Texas, in 1989. She spent her final four years in Rock Haven Nursing Home in the care of her many excellent nurses and other caretakers with additional care in her final year provided by Grace Hospice nurses, her chaplain, Don Barron, and others. Her family is deeply grateful for the loving care she was given.
June was a faithful member of the Congregational Methodist Church in Nacogdoches for many years while she was physically able to attend, and she greatly enjoyed singing in the choir and the fellowship shared with the congregation.
