Martha Levenia (King) Kirkpatrick was born in Clarksville, Red River County, Texas, on March 10, 1934, the daughter of Rufus Henry King and Dona Frances (Pruitt) King. She passed from this life on September 25, 2025, in Nacogdoches, Texas, having attained the age of 91 years.
Martha graduated from Clarksville High School in 1951 and from Stephen F. Austin University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology in 1955. She worked in the medical field as a Medical Technologist and X-Ray Technician for Dr. Philip Labarbera and Memorial Hospital in Nacogdoches, Texas.
She was united in marriage with Carl William Kirkpatrick on February 4, 1956, and he precedes her in death.
Her hobbies included sewing, reading and fishing.
Surviving are her daughter, Danita West, and great grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Marie Boles and William Joseph Gene Boles.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl, one daughter, Donna Marie Kirkpatrick, and one granddaughter, Kathrine Marie Boles.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 2nd at 2:00 P.M. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday night, October 1st from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
