Michael graduated from Nacogdoches High School, Class of 2021. He worked as a carpenter’s helper and in the lawn care industry. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing and weightlifting. He was a member of Fitness 360.
Survivors include: parents, David Scoggins and Monica Perez; grandparents, Johnny and Shirley Sanchez; aunts and uncles; Sarah and Kenny Glass, Mark Scoggins, Beth Scoggins, Tom and Vickie Parker, Joey Guerra, Arnold Mireles, Mark Mireles, Patricia Lopez; cousins, Denver and Kristen Glass, Laura and Cliff Sunda, Kennedy and Andrew May, Joey Guerra, Jr., Joel Guerra, Arnold Mireles, Jr., Aaron Mireles, Austin Mireles, and Avery Mireles.
Preceded in death by: grandparents, Loy and Brooksie Scoggins; uncle, Milton Scoggins; cousin, Rachel Jean Glass.
A visitation for Michael will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Michael will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Nacogdoches, Texas.
