Nicholas Giasullo Randolph passed away Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, in Nacogdoches, Texas. He was born in Newark, New Jersey on April 29th, 1936, to Nicholas G. and Ollie Grace (Neill) Randolph. He attained the age of 88 years.
Nicholas is survived by his loving wife, Sally Elizabeth (Warren) Randolph of Nacogdoches; one son, Mark Randolph of Houston; two daughters, Lianne Hobbs and her husband Layne of Alaska and Karen Collins and her husband Charles of New Braunfels, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Susan Jennings; and 9 Grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Nellie, Debbie and Nancy.
He is preceded in death by one son, Nicholas DeWayne Jennings, his parents, one sister, Susan and two brothers, Ronnie and Pete.
Nicholas’ family moved around the country when he was a young man and he graduated from Waite High School in Toledo, Ohio. He finally settled in Houston where he started his own business known as Claims Investment Associates and he was an active Private Investigator. Nicholas suffered a stroke that encouraged him to sell his company and move to Lufkin. The stroke caused him to lose the ability to speak, read or write. The doctors said it would probably be permanent, but he dismissed that idea and began to work to regain all of it, which he did!!!
Nicholas and Sally were united in marriage on May 3, 2008, and enjoyed 16 years together. Although we would have to say that Nicholas’ favorite interest was always “work”, he spent his leisure time watching Fox News. And together, Nicholas and Sally enjoyed dancing. They have been members of Fredonia Hill Baptist Church for the last 11 years and Nicholas’ ministry was as a “Greeter”. He would not miss an opportunity to be in his place. He felt it was his duty to teach all the children how to “High-Five”. They also worked with the University Students and made many memories. He will be missed!
His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in Fredonia Hill Baptist Church. A time of Visitation will be held starting at 1:00 until service time. Pastor Kendall McDonald will officiate.
Cason Monk-Metcalf is in charge of arrangements.
