Mr. Nicholas “Nick” Webb went home to his heavenly Father on Friday, September 25, 2015. His unexpected departure from this world will leave a void in the lives of his loved ones that can never be filled.
Upon graduation from Woden High School, Nick pursued his goal of attending and graduating from Angelina Police Academy. He served his community as the head of security at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.
While Nick had many interests, sports was an integral part of his life and he was a die hard 49’ers fan! Nick strove to share his love of sports by coaching his “girls” in basketball with the Woden Youth Basketball Association and softball with the Nacogdoches Youth Softball Association.
Nick was joined in his love of sports by his wife and best friend, Sammi Jo Webb. Together they pursued this love by spending numerous hours coaching and attending several NFL, NBA, and MLB games.
His survivors include his wife, Sammi Jo Webb; daughters, Kaylea Nicole Webb and Kyndal Kalyse Webb, both of Woden, Texas; daughter on the way, Nicki Ashlyn Webb; parents, Donald and Rhonda Edwards of Woden, Texas; parents-in-law, Lee and Terry Pruitt of Cushing, Texas; siblings, Terry Ray and husband Scotty of DeRidder, Louisiana, Nickie Derouen and husband Arthur of DeRidder, Louisiana, Bobby Edwards and wife Phoebe of DeRidder, Louisiana, LaNae Walters and husband Glen of Hamburg, Arkansas, and Ashley Spears and husband Josh of Woden, Texas; grandparents, Dearl and Margie Morrow of Crescent City, California; brothers-in-law, Jeremy Pruitt and wife Chelsea of Houston, Texas, and Heath Pruitt and wife Amy of Nacogdoches, Texas; his grandma-in-law, Caroline "MoMo" Rodrigues of Nacogdoches, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
