

Funeral Service for Oreta Delores Moore, 101, will be held Friday, January 7, 2011, at 2:00 pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Bro. James C. Young officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas.
Oreta died on January 3, 2011, in Nacogdoches. She was born October 8, 1909, in Post, Texas to James Hulett and Beulah Ann Fenn Lea.
Oreta married Glenn Walker Moore on September 21, 1941. She graduated from Draughns Business College and worked for Cox Farm Equipment in Tulia. Oreta attended the Primitive Baptist Church in Amarillo, Texas, She lived in Amarillo most of her life until moving to Nacogdoches in 1999. She was active with the Nacogdoches Senior Center and was an avid “42” domino player. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Jane Erwin and husband Larry of Nacogdoches, Texas, son, John Paul Moore and wife Sharon of Amarillo, Texas; sister, JoAnna Boothe and husband Walker of Sherman, Texas; grandchildren, Larry L. Erwin, Jr. of Catoosa, Oklahoma, Sandy Jacobs of Center, Texas, Mike Erwin of Lufkin, Texas, Doug Erwin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kelley Kaltwasser of Amarillo, Texas; great-grandchildren, Larry Erwin III, Eden Booker, Bryon Jacobs, Mhegan Jacobs, Crystal Erwin, Brittany Erwin, Noah Erwin, Hannah Kaltwasser, and Hailey Kaltwasser; great-great grandchildren, Mason Booker, Jonathan Lorg, Jamison Lorg, Adrienna Creech, and Alisha Lorg.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn Walker Moore; daughter, Delores Ann Moore; five brothers, and five sisters.
