

Rhonda Lynn Fletcher, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and laughter. Born in Nacogdoches, TX, Rhonda was the beloved daughter of Wanda Jean Saxton (Richards) and James Donald Fletcher. She completed her education through the 11th grade.
Rhonda dedicated 20 years of her life to working at a carnival, where she brought joy to countless families as an amusement midway provider and later served as office staff. Her career reflected her fun-loving spirit and deep commitment to making people smile.
She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, survived by her children: Dala Fletcher, Juwan Fletcher, Cody Brown, Alberto Delacruz, grandchildren: Christian, Daylin, Akira, Angel, Elijah, and Damien. Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Wanda Dean Richards and James Donald Fletcher.
Rhonda loved animals and shared her home and heart with her pets Pip (the dog) and Makeena (the cat). She had a deep appreciation for nature and a particular fondness for wolves. Whether it was puzzles, music, or the sound of rain, Rhonda found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was known for her sense of humor, her love of laughter, and her ability to crack a good joke.
She never met a stranger. Rhonda was known for her warm, friendly nature, and free spirit. She loved to travel and sing, dance, and spend time outdoors. She was loved deeply by her grandchildren and all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Bethel Cemetery in Appleby.
