I didn't know Ryan long, but I often heard of him and his great accomplishments in his short life. I think when someone passes so young we must look at their quality of life and not their quantity of life. We can't explain why God lets things happen, and we'll never figure out the true reason, but we must trust and have faith.  And what I know about Ryan is that he'll be watching all his family, friends and those so special in his life from this day forward. He has moved to a place where there is no pain, no suffering, no sickness, no disabilities and no sadness, and we should all take comfort in that. As I looked through the many photos today I'm reminded what a happy young man he was. He chose to see the best in people and in life, and he made the most out of his. I know when those close to him think of him, although they are sad, they smile because he brought happiness to all of them. And isn't that a great gift we can all give others? Everyone who thinks of him will remember the great things he meant to them, the fantastic times they spent with him and the positive inspiration he always was. God bless Ryan and his family and friends he left behind, for some day we will all see him again and once again smile and laugh and catch up on old times. God Bless!

Ryan, I didn't know you very well, however your everyday actions tell a lot about your character. I can't seem to remember seeing you without joy written all across your face.  You're someone who's ambitions were never out of reach, regardless of how far they were amongst the stars. A part of me looked up to you.

I can't think of a single time I ever saw Ryan without a smile on his face here at work...he is the most cheerful person I have ever met. He would come to my desk for a piece of candy and ALWAYS said "I'm sorry...I just want one".... I always laughed and told him that's what the candy is there for and that he could take more than one because we both knew good and well he would be back for more. We recently had our office Christmas party/gift exchange....I will never forget his laughter as he watched everyone open funny "gag" gifts.  I speak confidently when I say ALL of Ryan's ABC Family will miss Ryan dearly. What a tremendous loss for us all.

I will miss you everyday of my life, I remember so well when you were born, watched you grow up and become a man.   You worked hard to become who you are today.  When you were in grammar school you made me a turkey out of a brown paper bag, painted construction paper in different colors for the tail.  It is a little battered after all these years but it has always had a special place on my table every  Thanksgiving.   Now, it takes on new meaning. I remember the time Ryan came to New Jersey and visited our NJ office. He had such a big personality and an even bigger smile. He had many jokes to tell and we all enjoyed his visit. My heart breaks for his family with such a great loss. Dawn, may all the fond memories and many photos of Ryan with his big smile bring you comfort during this most difficult time. I met Ryan when he was in my daycare room. He was such a sweet boy. He has the sweetest smile/ bright eyes and lit the whole room.

I met this sweet boy at faith bridge church always had a smile on his face full of love for everyone. I watched him grow up into a man standing behind my stylist chair. Always loving to laugh and have a good time. He was a shining light in the darkness I say. always laughing,helping,smiling , and always standing up for what was right, always taking up for his love for our country leaders, our president and the American soilders, he loved his family very much. He was always striving to do better. It brakes my heart that he is not still hear with us I will miss his smile and Loving soul so very much ryan until we meet again my friend RIP ryan. Ryan! I am so glad you were a part of mine and Mia's life! You always had us laughing. You were my margarita/daiquiri buddy! You were the first one to know David and I would end up married and you even got to be there when we did the thing, the memorable River Trip 2016!  You will be so  so so missed! 

Ryan....my heart hurts that Mackenzie will never be able to hear your amazing,  hilarious laugh. I’ll never forget all the summers all of us cousins laughed until we cried and playing cards around the table, I know you cheated sometimes but I’ll let it go this one time lol. Ryan, you lit up any room that you walked into. Your laugh  and incredible smile was infectious, no one  could stay sad or angry with you around. You will be missed more than I can describe. I thank God that He let us share you, even though it was such a short time. RIP my dear friend and nephew in my heart.

I knew Ryan for a short time but loved him like a son, my daughter Makayla was a friend of his in Douglass. I’m praying for his family and friends to receive the strength, love and the closure that they need in this tragic time. He will be missed deeply!! Love you and will miss you Ryan!!
