Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a longtime member at Mahl Baptist Church and was a member of the Nac Quilting Club.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Allen Long and one sister, Anja.
She leaves behind her husband, Earnest Long; children, Sherryl Reese and husband Richard, Greg Long and wife Pam, and Robert Long; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; one sister and 4 brothers; nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, October 31, 2020, from 2:00 PM until 3:00PM followed by a funeral service starting at 3:00 PM, Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
The family would like to express a very special thanks to Sherryl (Daughter), Tiffany and Bridgett (Granddaughters) for their special care to her. Thanks for all who came to visit and prayers; phone calls and well wishes. A special thanks to Jessie Duck (her Brother) for introducing me to this wonderful lady 63 years ago. Thanks for the support of our church for their calls and support.
