She was born Jan. 25, 1942, in Nacogdoches County as a daughter of Gertrude Ethel (Disney) and Tom Jake Duck. Mrs. Fears had worked in the health care field as a nurse's assistant.
Her survivors include her husband, Joe Glenn Fears of Mount Enterprise.
