Vivian Marie Rankin

A Funeral Service for Vivian Rankin, of Chireno, Texas will be Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 10:00 am at Chireno Baptist Church with Pastor Waylon Brown of Chireno Baptist officiating. Interment will be at Lower Cemetery in Chireno, Texas.

Vivian passed away June 20, 2010 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Vivian was born on January 26, 1939 in Dickens, Texas to Willie and Ava Strahan.

Vivian is survived by her husband; Vernon P. Rankin of Chireno, and their four children, Vernon and Christy Rankin of Sugarland, Texas, Karen Rankin of Chireno, Texas, Richard and Deanna Rankin of Irving, Texas, Charles and Belinda Rankin of Humble, Texas. Vivian is also survived by her seven grandchildren; Crystal and Travis Zienko, Candace and Patrick Hendrick, David Peacock, Tara Peacock, Jennifer Rankin and Mitchell Davison, Eric Rankin, and Christopher Rankin; two great-grandchildren, Boe and Dusty Zienko. Vivian is also survived by her siblings, Virginia and Ronnie Cain, Evelyn and Tony Grimes, Everett and Sue Strahan, Royce and Ruth Strahan, Joyce and Billy McCants, and Robert Strahan.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Ava Strahan.

Pallbearers will be Travis Zienko, Patrick Hendrick, David Peacock, Eric Rankin, Christopher Rankin, and Mitchell Davison.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 23, 2010 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf in Nacogdoches.
