William “Aaron” Smith of Douglass, TX went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2010. He was born April 23, 1976 in Nacogdoches, TX. Aaron was the valedictorian of the 1994 graduating class of Douglass High School. He furthered his education pursuing degrees in both Information Technology and Business Administration at Stephen F. Austin State University. For the last ten years Aaron worked and resided in the Dallas/Plano area. He was employed by MedAssets in Richardson, TX.
Aaron is survived by his parents, Eileen Smith of Douglas, TX and Mark Smith of San Antonio, TX; and brother, Lance Smith of New Caney, TX. Aaron is also survived by his paternal grandfather, R.J. Smith of Cold Springs, TX.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur R. & Bertha A. Pearson; and his paternal grandparents, Frank & Margie Przyborski and Kathleen Lewis.
The family welcomes guests to come to the visitation at Cason Monk Metcalf Funeral Home on Saturday, February 27th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday , February 28th at Cason Monk Metcalf Sunset Chapel located on 5400 North St. in Nacogdoches. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
