Nora Mae Dietrich

Born August 7, 1917 in Henry County, Ohio the daughter of the late Jerry and Mertie (Sturdavant) Yarnell. On February 13, 1939 she married Kenneth “Bud” Dietrich and he preceded her in death on June 3, 2004.

Mae was employed by G.T.E. in Ottawa, Ohio for 28 years retiring in 1979. She was a member of Local #1654 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers AFL-CIO.

Surviving is one son, Roger L. Dietrich of Malinta, Ohio; daughter, Patricia A. (Jerry) Stemen of Columbus Grove, Ohio; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and a special friend Phyllis Gray.

She was preceded in death also by three brothers, Henry, Curley, and Chuck Yarnell, one sister, Helen Head.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio, Father Daniel E. Borgelt, officiating. Interment will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.

The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to St. Augustine Catholic School or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
