William Hughes White Jr.

William Hughes White, 84, of Holland and Perrysburg Ohio, October 2. Born in Bronxville NY, son of William and Margeret White. Husband of the late Chipps Hockenberry of Martinsburg, West Virginia. Long-time employee of the DeVilbiss company, gifted draftsman, engineer, and visual artist, expert in all things flammable, fine player of games and solver of puzzles. Survived by son Richard (Catherine) White of Dover, MA, daughter Carole Susan (Joseph) Russell of Custar OH, brothers Philip White of Nampa ID, Malcolm White of Orlando FL, two grandsons and four great grandchildren.

A suitable tribute to Bill’s life would be a blood donation. He and Chipps were both frequent donors and passed this tradition along to the rest of us.
