Merry Christmas Brandon!!! I think about you everyday, at least once a day. In your next lifetime, I pray you find love early. You both have a bunch of kids, and you get to meet your grandchildren (while you grow old gracefully). Make sure you travel, it’s during your travel you’ll bump into me. It’s the indefinite part that blows my mind. We… lol better yet I deployed 13-15 months at a time (you only had short tours, argue with your mother), and it would feel like a breeze. On deployment life in the states stands still. Then you get off the plane redeployment and notice everything has changed. It’s like I get off the plane from redeployment everyday. Nothing will ever be the same again. Melancholy is the only word that can describe these feelings. Anyway, I’m a big deal in my career, you’d be proud. Matter of fact you’d intend to humble me by calling me pissy lol. But I really am, and I wish you could have known me. So in the dream when you said you were coming back, come say hi. Also I know others in our family have joined you. My dreams tell me these things. I loved you today, tomorrow, and forever.

I’ve been fighting myself all day no to bother you today. Is this real? Still feels crazy to me. I was scared the other day. I remembered when we lived in Sheepshead Bay and you told me Dev you don’t think I get scared too? I do, just watch cartoons. I’m watching cartoons so much. I realized grief is a silent burn. If you show it to people they start to feel burdened. I’ve gotten good at hiding my sadness lately. It’s funny, but a part of me wants to feel sad so that  I never forget you. I know I won’t. I never miss a moment to pray for you. I know God is real. I know you are safe and come visit me often. I’m sorry I didn’t get to experience your last months with you. I feel so heartbroken. This page is my favorite. I miss you. You know growing up it was just us. How do we explain this to others? It was dysfunctional, yeah but we were all we had. I have the dumbest questions to ask you. We can save the answers for when I’m old lol. 

Yo when you graduated basic, you gave me a white gold chain. Then shortly after you deployed. I prayed every night for your safety holding that. I made a pact with god that if I prayed daily you would make it home safely. 

You remember when I got hit by a car. You would ask me did I meet god. 😂🤣😂 I guess I can ask you that now huh. I loved you today, I  will love you tomorrow and Forever. 

My only wish honestly is that you got to know me. I’m not as bad as perceived. I’m also not stuck up lol. Nerdy yes, stuck up no. I’m obsessed with politics. I love K-Drama and Asian foods. I prefer wine (Prosecco) over hard liquor. I’m am a honorary member of the makeup, Ulta, Target, DoorDash and Uber community lol. 

I’m extremely spiritual.  I love God and put God first. I love SOCA lol and yes dude I DJ but not a career. I’m ranting🤷🏽‍♀️. Until my next visit. I can talk to you and you can’t hang up and say you will call me back lol. Dev ♥️

Every-time you come to my dreams now your visits are short, sweet and you don’t talk directly to me 😂 Thanks because this feels horrifying. I was not expecting the dream yesterday but like all dreams we always lock eyes, before I wake myself up. My spirit knows better. 

I’m learning that people don’t ever heal from grief. We just learn to live with the loss. The knots in my throat comes back and the pains feel fresh every time I try to conceptualize that you are physically not here. It’s like I got the phone call all over again when these knots come back. 

Well anyway physically is not the only one form of energy, because spiritually you are with me. It’s not funny because I even pray for you not to come lol. I’m still… well you know. Anyway I loved you today, tomorrow and forever. 

Can you hurry to get into a public resting place? I want to visit you so bad. Visit without worrying about anything. DO NOT come in my dreams though, my dreams are my own lol. Is it weird that I’m still in shock? I had to get even further away to silence the noise and pain of missing you, to make it tolerable. It’s loud MOST days. I dreamed you today. I refused to sleep because of this. Everyone comes to me lol. I was afraid to see you because at this some point I knew I’d have to accept you’re really gone. Thank you! B, you were the best DJ, ever!  You made the room light up with your big, beautiful smile.  You knew all the lyrics of each song you played.  We really had some good times together in the short period that I've known you.  I'm really going to miss those Friday night's happy hours at Josie's house.
