We will celebrate his glorious life with a service at Palms Woodland Funeral Home on June 4, 2023, from 12 pm to 12 am.
Our beloved Hector led an extraordinary life. He was loved and respected by many. His most admirable accomplishment has always been the family he led. He took pride in being the family-oriented man he was. He took care of his mother and siblings at a young age from the moment he was able to work. He was the overprotective brother of 5 sisters and 1 brother. He met and married the daughter of an Army soldier, Mayda Guzman Roman who was the love of his life. They married on February 29, 1964.
Hector was the hard-working patriarch of the Roman clan. They had 3 beautiful daughters who he absolutely adored and continued to instill the love of family to their own and those around them. He has 7 grandchildren who cherished and respected the man who showed them nothing but unconditional love.
Hector is survived by his daughters, Mayda R. Lugo (Izy), Jacqueline R. Moreno (Jackie), Michele R. Mathis (Michi); Son in Laws, Jose D. Lugo, Daniel Moreno Jr., Elton J. Mathis; Grandchildren, David Lugo, Jacqueline D. Moreno (JD), Gabrielle Lugo (Gabby), Daniel J. Moreno (DJ), Amaya V. Mathis, Alanah G. Mathis, Jalen J. Mathis (JJ); as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends.
