Samuel M. D'Addio, 32, passed away on Sunday May, 3rd, 2020. He was born in Englewood, Co on June 30th, 1987. Samuel D’Addio was an amazing man, who loved and adored his family. He was always willing to give a helping hand and knew that no job was to little or big. He enjoyed fishing, camping and was a great engineer. His favorite place was surrounded by his loved ones. He took pride in everything he did and was quite the perfectionist. Sam traveled the world and served in the United States Coast Guard for over 13 years and loved it. He spent 13 months in Bahrain serving his country. When presented with the opportunity to support an exchange program with our closest allies, Sam volunteered and spent 2 years deployed with the Royal Navy on the HMS ECHO homeport of Plymouth, England. His service alongside the Royal Navy exemplified American pride and dedication.
He is a true American hero. The world will not be the same place without him. He was loved by all of his peers and left behind a wonderful family who will miss him dearly and will honor him indefinitely. He is survived by two amazing children, Anthony and Matthew who meant the world to him. As an active member in the VNV LV MC he truly loved his brothers; enjoying riding with them and supporting all the great causes they took a role in. His wife Sarah D’Addio loves him with her whole heart and always will. Samuels mother and brother thought he was the greatest gift from god. His father always took pride and appreciated everything that Sam stood for. There won’t be a day that goes by his family and friends won’t miss him. He was truly loved and we are all blessed to have known him. May god look after the loved ones he has left behind and let him be at peace. A celebration of life at Bushnell Military Cemetery will be announced at a later date due to the global pandemic.
