Albert F. Griffin Jr.

Albert F. Griffin Jr., 62, of Caledonia passed away peacefully on May 12, 2023 at Suzanne’s Comfort Care in Perry, NY while surrounded by his family. He was born on September 16, 1960 in Boston, Massachusetts, and was the son of the late Albert F. and Florence (Wallace) Griffin Sr.

Al was devoted to serving his community and did so by working with the Litchfield Fire Department. With recovery as a big part of his life, he served at Keystone in Nashua where he genuinely enjoyed seeing others recover and was a compassionate person for those suffering from addiction.

He is survived by Carole Griffin; step children Laura Call Torres (Joe Collins), Sara Cook (Michael), Anna Wrenn-Call (Charles), Megan Call (Mel), Victoria Call, James Call (Kayla Cichocki); sisters Shirley Fasolino, Francis Ward, Donna Freeman (Ray), Carol Graves, and Karen St. Hilaire; several nieces and nephews; and 17 grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his sister Judy Farrell. The love of his family and friends was very evident in his last days.

A Committal Service will be held on June 24, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Catherine's Cemetery located at 20 Pine Ridge Rd, Westford, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Al’s memory may be made to Suzanne’s Comfort Care Home in Perry, NY.
