Anna N. Tedesco

Anna N. (Ross) Tedesco, 77, of Nashua, NH passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011 at Aynsley Place in Nashua. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 19, 1934, the daughter of the late Louis and Nellie (Schepanski) Ross.

Anna was educated in the NY school system, graduating from Glen Cove High School. She relocated to Nashua in 2009 to be closer to her daughter. She was employed as a bank bookkeeper and teller for Nassau Trust Company in Glen Cove, Long Island, NY for many years before her retirement. Anna was a member of the Knights of Columbus, where she served as a Colombette, the Rosary Society at St. Rocco’s Church in NY and the Senior Center in NY. She enjoyed gardening and loved to travel.

She is predeceased by her husband, Rocco Tedesco in 1995 and two brothers, Louis and Alfred Ross.

She is survived by a son, Michael Tedesco and his wife Barbara of Beth Page, NY; three daughters, Annamaria Delk and her husband Donald of Nashua, Virginia Mellone and her husband Michael of West Islip, Long Island; and Roseanne Grant and her husband John of Albuquerque, NM; a sister, Diane Mini of Manchester, NJ; eight grandchildren, Dr. Carolyn Delk, DO of Northampton, MA; Suzanne Delk and fiancé Robert Rosa of Nashua; Barbara Ann, Michael Rocco and Nicole Tedesco of New York; and Jennifer, Allison and Michael Mellone of West Islip, New York; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

All Funeral Services for Anna were held in Glen Cove, NY. The ZIS-SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 26 KINSLEY STREET, NASHUA, NH 03060 is assisting the family with arrangements.
