Beverly A O'Brien

In 1958, Beverly married Arthur O’Brien Jr. They resided in Reading, MA for 35 years. In later years they moved to Nashua, NH and spent the winter months in Cocoa Beach, FL. Arthur passed away on January 4, 2010.

Beverly loved a house full of family, friends, food and laughter. She was also a sports fan with a fondness for the Boston Red Sox. But nothing could compare to attending her grandchildren’s sports. She was their biggest fan. She will always be remembered for her kind and giving heart and for her love of family.

Beverly is survived by her two sisters, her brother, brother-in-law and their spouses, Diane and Richard Ventura, Judith Maguire, Jack and Carol Fitzgerald, Chet and Norma O’Brien. She is survived by her sons Gary and Kevin O’Brien, daughter Gayle Harris and husband Mark, and daughter Erin Klein. She is also survived by seven much-loved grandsons. Beverly leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday December 10, 2015 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home at 26 Kinsley Street in Nashua, NH. There will be a graveside service on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at 70 Medford Street in Arlington, MA.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
