
Doris A. (Fagnant) Caraccio, 93 of Nashua, NH passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Solamor Hospice at Pheasantwood in Peterborough, NH. She was born in Keene, NH on June 3, 1918, the daughter of the late Albert and Julia (Durocher) Fagnant.
Doris was educated in the Marlboro, NH school system, graduating from Marlboro High School, Class of 1936. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper for Blueline Express Co. and Dowd Insurance. Doris along with her husband, Al opened and operated Al’s Pizza until their retirement. She enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises; sewing and making her own clothes; and most of all loved animals.
She is predeceased by her husband, Albert Caraccio in 1993; a brother, Buddy Fagnant; and two sisters, Stella James and Pauline Fagnant.
She is survived by a daughter, Antoinette Greene and her husband Stanley of Lyndeborough, NH; a son, Albert J. Caraccio and his wife Michelle of Amherst, NH; three grandchildren, Joseph, Natalie and Jack Caraccio; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours were be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 8 AM to 9:30 AM at ZIS-SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 26 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH 03060. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Christopher’s Church 10 AM. Burial followed at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson, NH. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Doris’s name to the, Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110.
