

Elizabeth Ann Greenwood, 75, of Nashua, passed away on October 20, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Exeter, NH on July 7, 1940, daughter of the late Reginald and Amelia (Mazalauski) Toland.
Elizabeth was a very compassionate and selfless person. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Elizabeth was a part of the women’s golf association at the Nashua Country Club where she and her husband Richard were members for 40 years. She was also a member of the New Hampshire Women’s Golf Association. Besides golfing, Betty enjoyed bowling, reading, and spending quality time with her large circle of friends. She loved to volunteer, and would lend a hand at the Hunt Home, Upper Room, and Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
Betty lived her life with an unmatched positive attitude, sharing with others her ever-present smile, sense of humor and laughter.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard Greenwood, her daughter, Karen Greenwood (Jim Richmond) of Colorado, her son, James Greenwood of Nashua, three grandchildren, Ryan Greenwood, Michael Greenwood, and Sarah Leach (Nathan Leach), one great grandchild, Emie Leach, and numerous friends and extended family members. She was predeceased by her son John-o Greenwood, and her brother Paul Toland.

There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the Parish of the Resurrection on October 26, 2015 at 11:00AM, followed by a Memorial Reception at the Nashua Country Club. Elizabeth will be buried next to her son at the Exeter Cemetery at a later date.
