Jeffrey A. Burnham

Jeffrey A. Burnham, 65, of Nashua, NH passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014 at his home. He was born February 22, 1949 in Winchester, MA, son of the late W. Franklin Burnham, Jr. and Dorothy Arthur Burnham.

Mr. Burnham grew up in Reading, MA and graduated from Reading Memorial High School. In his younger days he enjoyed playing hockey and skiing. He worked for many years as a chemical engineer for 3M in Chelmsford, MA, retiring in 1999. Mr. Burnham enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing golf and he loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two daughters; Brenda Barrelle of Nashua and Jenny Burnham of Methuen, MA, his significant other; Jeanne Duffy of Nashua, his extended family; Tim Duffy and Rachel Duffy, both of Nashua and also by two brothers; Donald Burnham of Derry, NH and William Burnham of Greenland, NH.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua. Family graveside services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, 401 Park Dr., Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215 or to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
