
William has been a Hollis resident for the last 28 years. After graduation from the University of Bridgeport in 1967 he worked for Norden Systems of United Technologies for 20 years, in both Norwalk, CT, and Merrimack. He later became a Certified Financial Planner, spending the rest of his career in this field, prior to his retirement several years ago. While retired, he spent some time delivering mail for the Hollis Post Office and the rest of the time enjoying home projects.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Bill was always available to lend a helping hand to his family, friends, and neighbors. He coached baseball throughout his life, and loved to cheer on his grandson, Matthew, at all of his Cal Ripken AA league games. Bill was an avid bird-watcher and a life-long bowler. He volunteered for multiple committees within the community of Hollis.
Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Therese Toth of Hollis; three children, James Toth and his wife Maura of Exeter, Cheryl Toth of Berwick, ME and Christopher Toth and his wife Maureen of Nashua; a brother Richard Toth and his wife Diane of Lubbock, TX; two grandchildren, Matthew and Zachary Toth both of Exeter; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling Hours were held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 6 PM to 8 PM at ST. LAURENT FUNERAL HOME, 116 ELM STREET, NASHUA, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11 AM at the Parish of the Resurrection in Nashua. Burial took place in Hollis, NH. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in William’s name to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
