Arressia Allender

Arressia Allender, 98, of Nashville, IN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus, IN. She was born March 26, 1923, in Brown County. She was the daughter of Omer and Susie Quackenbush Allender. Arressia is survived by one sister, Jayne Allender of Columbus, IN. She is also survived by 6 nieces and nephews, Genevieve (Bernard) Hatchett of Nashville,IN, Thelma Campbell of Nashville, IN, Phyllis Lucas also of Nashville, IN, Stephen Alender of Indianapolis,IN, Kenneth (Judy) Heiner of Cincinnati, OH, and Kurt Heiner of Chandler, AZ. She also had numerous great and great-great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and four brothers as well as by several nieces and nephews. Arressia owned and operated the Brown County Abstract Company in Nashville for many years and was well known and cared for in her community. There will be no calling hours. A private family funeral and burial will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements were made by Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home.
