Ethel “Evelyn” Petro, 81, of Bloomington, passed away November 19 in Bloomington. She was born October 22, 1932 in Bloomington the daughter of Elza Lee & Ora Polley. She was a former employee of Indiana University Building Services. Evelyn was a 15 year member of Cornerstone Apostolic Church of Sanford, IN. She has been a member of the Pentecostal faith since she was 15 years old.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Dale Petro, Bloomington, children, Donald (Debra) Petro, Marvin (Patricia) Petro, Kenneth (Cindy) Petro, James (Ruth) Petro, Brenda (Dennis) Wentworth, & Teresa Goodman, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, sister, Lois Irene Van Devender, half-brother, Woody Robbins, & several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jesse Polley, sister, Janet Polley, half-brothers, Don Chandler & Grover Crouch.
A Funeral Service will be held at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home on Friday November 22 at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Willard Walls officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M.
