Fern D. Gardner

She was born March 9, 1917 in Indianapolis, IN. the daughter of Fielden D. & Jessie (Siddall) Gardner. Fern was a high school graduate & was an employee of Indiana National Bank, Indianapolis. After retirement from the bank, she owned & operated The Lunch Cove restaurant, Nashville.

Fern, along with her dear friend, Eloise, enjoyed traveling together, especially to Las Vegas.

Fern will be missed by many, many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her cherished companion & closest friend Eloise Gillespie, her parents & two sisters, LaDonna & Virginia.

A funeral service will be held Monday, December 20, 2010, at 11:30 A.M. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, Nashville. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, December 20 from 10:30 A.M. until the time of service. Private burial will be in Washington Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brown County Health & Living Community, P.O. Box 667, Nashville, IN. 47448.
