Janet Louise Bennett

Janet was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School, Indianapolis and attended Butler University where she met her future husband, Richard “Dick” Bennett. They married June 5, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1999. They moved to Brown County in 1971 and enjoyed many happy years there. Janet loved her many cats and dogs.

Survivors include her son, Greg (Vicki) Bennett, Sr., Nashville, daughter, Susan (Sue) Bennett, Mooresville, grandsons, Greg Bennett, Jr. and Michael Bennett, and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A private family and friends Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brown County Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Brown County Humane Society, P.O. Box 746, Nashville, IN 47448.
