Marjorie B. Pierson

Marjorie B. Pierson, 76, of Brown County, passed away August 22, 2017 at her home. She was born January 16, 1941 in Kokomo, In. Marj was the child of Roy and Princess Baugher. Marjorie was a graduate of Butler University where she was pledged to Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She spent her professional career teaching at Zionsville Elementary School. Marjorie was an active member of The Bridge of Brown County Church.

Marjorie is survived by her stepsons, David (Julie) Pierson, Trafalgar, Perry (Susan) Pierson, Morgantown, and Terry (Angie) Pierson, Indianapolis, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Emerson Pierson who she married on June 1, 1964 in Kokomo, and one brother.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 26 at 2:00PM at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, with Rev. Darrell Stout officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nashville. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 noon-2:00 P.M.
