Rena Marie Kirk, age 70, of Bloomington, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at the Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis. Born August 13, 1954 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Dennis Lee Stephens and Eunice Louise (Sullivan) Crafton. Rena owned and operated Barnyard Friends Petting Zoo for 20 years. She enjoyed motorcycle travel and was an avid animal lover.
She is survived by one brother-in-law, Fred (Sandy) Carpenter, sister-in-law, Judy Timbrook, her step-son, Robby, and a close friend, Chris Bishop.
Rena was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Danny Albert Kirk, on September 18, 2024
A graveside funeral service will be held on her birthday, Wednesday, August 13 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Bloomington.
