Richard Eugene Hedrick

Dick was a Brown County High School Grad of 1971.

Dick worked at the Brown County Highway department for forty-one years.

Dick enjoyed working on the farm, collecting toy tractors traveling to many different states to shows, going to antique tractor shows also going to rodeos. Mushroom hunting and going on drives were a pastime he enjoyed.

Dick is survived by his mother Maxine (Kelp) Hedrick, sisters Kathi Hedrick- Smith, and Alice A. Hedrick.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert E Hedrick, grandparents Ralph & Brunell Hedrick and Max & Iva Kelp, his great Aunt Clotha Hedrick Robertson and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to thank Greentree Senior living and Frsenius Kidney Care Center for taking such great care of him the past few years.

A visitation for Richard will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 N, Nashville, Indiana 47448. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dick’s name to the Southern Brown Vol. Fire Dept. or the Brown County Humane Society.
