Terri Lynn Acton, age 63, of Seymour, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Columbus Regional Hospital. Born December 9, 1957 in Columbus, Indiana, she was the daughter of Jack Alvin and Helen Louise (Moore) Crabtree. Terri graduated from Brown County High School and worked in the Brown County State Park for twenty-eight years. She retired in 2020 after seven years of service from NTN Driveshaft in Columbus. Terri loved collecting stuffed bears and tigers. In her younger days she enjoyed walking and going out dancing with friends. More recently she enjoyed dining out and going on trips with her husband Jerry. Terri was a very generous person, she would give you the shirt off her back (that kind of generous). She was a very kind loving person.
Terri is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Acton, of Seymour, two brothers, Dave Crabtree, of Guthrie, Oklahoma and Nate Crabtree, of Indianapolis; two sisters, Faith Crabtree and Melissa Crabtree, both of Nashville: five nieces, Theresa Crabtree and Noelle Crabtree, both of Indianapolis, Jamie Stinson, of Columbus, Taelor Smith, of Whiteland and Haedon Hill, of New Whiteland and four nephews, Jack Crabtree, of Indianapolis, Tristan Huber, of Nashville and Zachery Huber, of North Vernon and Kayode Crabtree, of Nashville.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Vance Devlin Crabtree.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home; 1682 St. Rd. 135 North; Nashville with Gary Cave officiating. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Bellsville Cemetery in Brown County at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
