Wilma Jean Woods, age 70, of Nashville passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at the Brown County Health and Living Center in Nashville. Born September 23, 1950 in Franklin, Indiana, she was the daughter of Felix Woods, Sr. and Velma (Floyd) Woods. She enjoyed being a homemaker and had formerly attended the Fellowship Baptist Church in Columbus, Indiana.
Wilma Jean is survived by her two sons; Brian Hyde, of Grammer, Indiana and Ronald (Vicki) Hyde, of Hazard, Kentucky, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three sisters, Alice Marie (Clyce) Hobbs, Linda L. (Bob) McCloud and Susie (Randy) Bartlett, all of Nashville; three brothers, Robert D. (Lois) Woods, of Nashville, William “Buck” (Theresa) Woods, of Bloomington and Felix (MaryLin) Woods, Jr., of Nashville and one sister-in-law, Debbie Woods, of Nashville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Woods, Sr., mother, Velma (Floyd) Woods Bendler, one sister, Carolyn Sue Knight and three brothers, Joseph Woods, Donnie Woods and Jackie Woods.
A private family funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home; 1682 St. Rd. 135 North. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to coVid 19 restrictions there will only be 25 people in the funeral home at one time.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimers Association.
