My deepest sympathy to all of AO’s family! I just learned he passed away & my heart is heavy. He was most definitely one of the unique, loyal, fun people God graced the earth with! He was a devoted Police Officer that was a natural in the K-9 division. He absolutely adored his girls & if he was your friend, he was your friend. I know he’s watching over his loved ones with the same fierce protective love he did so here on earth with! God Bless you AO! May Peace be with you always my friend!


So sorry about A.O. We played football together and he was a good quarterback. I believe he was a first cousin to neighbors of mine. We always laughed and cut-up all the time. Every time I ran into A.O. over the years it was like we were back in school again, laughing and acting crazy. It is hard to believe that he passed at this early age. All my memories of A.O. are good ones. I'm sorry I missed his funeral service.

Very sorry to hear of AO's passing. I haven't seen him since our Heights years but still consider him a good friend. What a great guy and athelete, will sadly miss him, RIP.

Was talking to my friend about AO and back in the day when he dated my friend Debi Kenny and all the crazy times we had.. I thought I would look him up just to find his obit which makes me very sad.. my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends

So sorry to hear about A.O.  I haven't seen him in many years.  I had no idea he'd been sick.  I will remember all the good times we had in high school.  He was a great football player.  I think I watched all of his games at Heights.  We had fun riding in his souped up Pinto.  Prayers for his family.....

So sorry to hear about A.O.'s passing. We were friends growing up and playing football together at Castle Heights Military Academy. A.O. was one heck of a quarterback. Condolences to his family and friends. May he RIP.

What a "Good day for the team, bad day for the bad guys" feeling we always got when we saw that it was A.O. and his partner arriving on a call wherein K-9 was needed for a track or building search. He was a good Officer who obviously heeded the calling of 'Lawman' for the right reasons. His years of service definitely made a difference in the quality of life for the citizenry of Nashville.

I am sorry to hear about A.O. passing away.  He was a good man and will be missed by all.  We worked together on the Police Dept. and I will always remember him. My prayers go out to the family and friends during this time of grief.
