

Andrea was born 1953 in Pensacola Florida to Nicholas and Stella Kritselis.
She graduated from University of West Florida in 1975 and received her Master of Arts in exercise physiology from Ohio State University in 1976. She taught exercise physiology at Berea College and at the University of West Florida. In 1987, Andrea joined the U.S. Navy and completed Naval Flight Surgeon Training at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola Florida.
In 1987, she married James A. Gaume M.D. and moved to Los Angeles. She remained in the US Naval Reserves until she retired as a Commander in 2006. Following retirement, she worked as a real estate broker at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services in Nashville Tennessee. She served as president of Nashville Academy of Medicine Auxiliary for three years. At the time of her death she was a member of the Board of Trust of Currey Ingram Academy. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
Her passions were antiques, gardening, salt and freshwater fishing, college basketball, Olympic swimming and diving, golf, foreign films, Broadway theater and international travel.
Andrea is survived by her husband James, her daughters Sarah Andrea and Mary Kathleen, her sister Krissy Kritselis, and her father Nicholas Andrew Kritselis. She is preceded in death by her mother Stella and sister Glorianne.
The Trisagion Service will be held at Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home, Nashville, Tennessee on April 7 at 4 PM followed by visitation until 7 PM. The funeral service will be held April 8 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church followed by the graveside service at 3 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee.
Immediately following the graveside service at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church there will be a Makaria or Meal of Blessing.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Thomas Hospital foundation or Alive Hospice, Nashville Tennessee
