Angela Jo Sharpe-Dotson of Brentwood, Tennessee departed this life on April 2, 2020. Angela was born in Nashville, Tennessee on February 4, 1956 to parents Frank Edward Sharpe and Josephine Bowe Sharpe.
Angela was survived by husband Phillip Len Dotson, daughters, Sinclair Sharpe Dotson and Payton Sharpe Dotson. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Josephine Sharpe.
She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, 1978 with honors. She was Vice President of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Angela was an artist, makeup artist, Dental Office Manager, retail cosmetics and fashion accessories business owner, and a highly sought after beauty pageant consultant. Angela was a wonderful daughter, wife and mother. She was highly successful in all endeavors.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2020 at the Historic Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN with Tony Davidson, Jesse Bowe, Lee Dotson, Charlie Lutz, Frederick "Tad" Irvin and William "Bubba" Fuson serving as pallbearers.
Due to health concerns family and friends are limited to 8 at the Graveside Service, but the family would be honored for her many friends and family to attend, but remain in your vehicle. Flowers are welcomed and appreciated.
Note from Mount Olivet: If you should decide to attend and stay in your vehicle, please stop and park at the funeral home parking lot. Please stay in your car. You will be instructed to follow the funeral coach and family to the gravesite. Please bring your own pen as you will be given a Memory Card to write your message to the family of a special memory of Angela. At the close of her graveside service, cards will be picked up from you and given to Phillip, Sinclair and Payton. These special memories and words of love will be cherished by the family.
