

Mrs. Stowers was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Henry Stowers; her parents, Horton and Lena Bell Jones; grandson, Adam Luster; brother and sister-in-law, Horton and Joan Jones ; sister and brother-in-law, Justine and Jim Osteen.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Roger) Grayson, Linda Luster and Mark (Connie) Stowers; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Stowers attended George Peabody College where she played the violin in the college orchestra . She then transferred to University of Mississippi to pursue a degree in pharmacy. She met her future husband, Henry Stowers at Ole Miss where he too was pursuing a pharmacy degree. Together they owned and operated Stowers-Jones Drugs. She later worked as a pharmacy tech at Nashville Memorial Hospital and for the State of Tennessee.
Mrs. Stowers was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ- most recently Bellevue Church of Christ.
Per her request, there will be no public service. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 12 noon until 2 o’clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A private family committal will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital or a charity of your choice.
