Mr. Gibbs was born on November 20, 1940 in Ashland City, TN, son of the late Odell Gibbs and Mattie Ailene Riggin.
Autry was the owner/operator of Gibbs brothers Construction, Inc. located in Nashville, TN.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Gibbs.
Survivors include his wife Shirley Gibbs; Daughters, Terri (Stevie) Gibbs-Story, Michelle Gibbs, and Kimberly Gibbs; Sons, James (Linda) Terry Lee Slicer, and Autry F. Gibbs Jr; Five Grandchildren, Dwayne Brown, Skylar and Seagie Smith, Zachary Gray, Liam Elijah-Wayne Gibbs; one great granddaughter; Trinity Brown.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at two-thirty in the afternoon in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
