Barbara graduated from White House High School where she was voted Most Athletic and Class Favorite. Following her graduation, she went to work for Horace Small Company and Aladdin Industries, where she met her husband, Bill. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Barbara took time off to raise and take care of her family before joining to work alongside Bill at their company, Dixie Fuel and Lubricants, in Portland, TN. She supported many civic and community organizations and was an active tennis player for over 40 years with her group of wonderful friends at Hillwood Country Club. In recent years, her tennis group moved from the court to lunches in the Terrace Grill and coffee at The Picnic. An avid sports fan, Barbara enjoyed watching football, tennis, and her beloved Lady Vols and Big Blue basketball teams. She will forever be remembered for her dedication to her family and friends, her sweet smile, her competitive spirit, her inner strength and determination, her laughter, and her passion for dancing with the love of her life, Bill, who now she is reunited in the ultimate dance, one of eternal life.
