BENNETT, Bess Hunt, age 89, died peacefully March 6, 2012, following a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Ralph. Bess is survived by her sons, Rick (Jeannie) Bennett & Bill (Kris) Bennett; grandsons, Myles Bennett, Maxwell Bennett, & Stephen Reece; niece, Barbara (Rick) Newman and nephew, Bobby (Cindi) Schwartz. Her extended family includes, Debbie Bennett and Elizabeth Perkins. Bess attended Ward Belmont & graduated from Vanderbilt University, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She later founded Bennett Galleries/ Frames By U. She was a longtime member of West End United Methodist Church, Richland Country Club and Vanderbilt Bridge Club. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2012, at West End United Methodist Church, 2200 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Friday preceding the service.
