Mrs. Huggins was born in Nashville, TN, on September 1, 1922, the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Rice and Carmen Deaton Rice. She retired from Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency after twenty-six years of service. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Huggins was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Jackson Huggins, Jr.; a sister, Annie Laura Rice Waggoner; and three brothers, Bill, Martin, and James Rice.
Survivors include a daughter, Suzanne Huggins; a son, Steven M. (Wanda) Huggins; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside and interment services will be held Friday, December 30, 2016, at eleven o’clock Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016, at four o’clock until eight o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
