She was born on September 21, 1935, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Fred Wilson and Thelma Lois Dies. Betty graduated from Central High School and later married the love of her life, Joe V. Kennedy, Sr., on August 26, 1955. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared 70 years of love and devotion.
Betty’s professional journey included work with National Life and Kelex Electronics, but her greatest joy was found in her role as a homemaker, where she created a warm and loving home for her family.
She had a passion for animals, especially her beloved cats, and found joy in traveling, collecting dolls, and spending time with her family. One of her greatest pleasures was sitting on her back patio in Palm Springs, where she delighted in the beauty of the mountains.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband, Joe V. Kennedy, Sr. She was preceded in death by her two beloved sons, Joe V. Kennedy, Jr. and Scott Michael Kennedy.
Betty will be remembered for her kindness, love of family, and the joy she found in life’s simple blessings.
