Beverly Jane King

Beverly Jane King, born on December 9, 1944, passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 81. She was a resident of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. She was a Nashville native and of the Baptist faith attended Glencliff and Donelson High Schools in the early 60’s. She retired after 10 years of service with West Wilson Utility District in Mt. Juliet, TN.

Beverly was a beloved wife, mother, and most of all Nannie. She enjoyed being with her family at special events in their lives and her favorite was our Christmas bowling gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 plus years Pete King and parents Claude and Ruth Stewart and younger brother Jimmy, also her granddaughter Brandi Troutt and Great grandson Jayden.

She is survived by Sisters: Claudia Ann Tidwell of South Carolina and Shirley Elliott of Texas. Daughters: Kim (Alan) Thomas, Shellie (Tommy) Potts and Tammy (Rudy) Tanner. Son: Patrick (Laura) King, Grandchildren: April (Jeremy) Stewart, Darrell DJ (Veronica) Ingle, Kassie (Curtis) Payne, Tiffani (Thomas) Fleming and Kayla (Cody) Ferrell, Ally, Josie, Jackson and Tucker King, Great Grandchildren: Aaliyah, Aydan, Kaden, Carson, Jayla, Gabryala, Peyton, Dominic, Elayna, Camden, Deacon and Harmoni, Great Great Grandson Lennox. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews and remarkably close cousins.

Pallbearers: Tommy Potts, Rudy Tanner, DJ Ingle, Darrell Ingle, Aydan Ingle, Cody Ferrell, Carson Ferrell, Curtis Payne and Thomas Fleming.

Pastor Kent Unklesbay will be officiating the services.

She will be truly missed by all that knew her and loved her. Until we meet again one day We All Love You So Much!!

The Family extends their deepest appreciation to the Summit ICU nurses and staff, and to the Amedisys Hospice staff Miranda, Erica, Liz, Chelsea and Angel.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, located at 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, on January 5, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Another Gathering of Family and Friends will take place at the same venue on January 6, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for January 6, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park.

The Committal and Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, on January 6, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
