Billie Jean was born in Datto, AR on January 21, 1931 to Charles & Anna Belle Skaggs. She graduated from high school in Wardell, MO. She married Bobby Leon Martin on September 13, 1947 in Pickett, AR.
Billie Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Martin; her siblings, Garland Skaggs, Clifford Skaggs, Maxine Walker, & Charlene Beck. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Beck of Brentwood, TN; her two children, Bobby Martin and wife Margie, of Rogers, AR, and Marcia Coleman and husband, Jim, of Nolensville, TN; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 25th, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26th. Both will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home of Nashville.
