Bobbie McDonald, age 86, departed this life on September 5, 2020. She was born on April 24, 1934 in Gallatin, Tennessee to the late Thomas Willard and Lou Esther Proctor Lawson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Eugene McDonald.
She is survived by her children, Terry (Pam) McDonald of Nashville, TN; Stevie (Jann) McDonald of Antioch, TN; Joe McDonald of Nashville and Stacy (Mark) Turner of Hermitage, TN; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Bobbie will be remembered for her hard work ethic and her strength. She retired at age 84 as a PBX Operator after 24 years at Centennial Medical Center.
Bobbie was known by all as "Granny Bob". She was the most special, precious, loving, caring, teaching and understanding mother and grandmother. Bobbie cherished her family above all precious things in life.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, with Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from eleven o'clock in the morning until time of services at two o'clock on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
Her grandsons are to serve as pallbearers.
