Mrs. Townes retired from AT&T after 27 years of service as an Executive Secretary.
She was a devoted wife as well as a devoted aunt. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, Ray. As a world traveler, Cal developed lasting friendships and she never met a stranger.
Cal was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, R.R. Townes.
Survived by 3 nieces, Judy Burns (Pat) of Franklin, TN, Deana Donoho (Tony) of Nashville, TN, and Becky Berry of Savannah, TN; great nephews and niece, Barrett Petty (Val), Clint Berry (Malory) and Callan Donoho; great-great niece, Mary Townes-Petty; great-great nephew, Drew Petty; grandson, Bert Townes (Pam); granddaughter, Tavia Placella-Napier (Darrell); great granddaughter, Ashley Townes; great grandson, Brayden Placella.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from eleven-thirty in the morning until one on Friday, January 19, 2017 at Brentwood Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at one o’ clock in the afternoon.
